Why Train with Declan
Boxing is a skill everyone should experience. Mastering the fundamentals builds confidence both inside and outside the gym, while creating a strong foundation for long-term progression. My coaching focuses on high-level technique and real skill development from the ground up.
When I was younger, I’d spend hours in the gym but only get five minutes on the pads and that’s where I learned the most. The feedback, corrections, and real-time adjustments transformed my boxing. Pad work forces you to think, move, defend, and execute all at once.
In a structured hour on the pads, you refine your technique, improve your footwork and timing, develop sharper defence, and learn how to maintain quality under pressure. You’re not just repeating movements you’re applying them with guidance and immediate correction.
That’s why every session I run is pad-focused. It’s the fastest way to improve technique, timing, movement, and defence.

The 10-Session Framework
Boxing is an art that demands structure, repetition, and intelligent progression. This 10-session framework is built for technical perfection.
I recommend a minimum of 10 private sessions to ensure the foundations of boxing are learned correctly and to a high technical standard. Each session follows a progressive framework, carefully revisiting skills while introducing new techniques at the right time.

Family & Youth Packages
The Youth and Family Boxing Programme is built around more than just learning how to box — it is designed to unite and strengthen households from the inside out. For young people aged 10–16, sessions focus on building confidence, discipline, resilience, and respect through structured coaching. The Parent & Child option allows mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters to train together, creating shared growth, accountability, and trust through the art of boxing. While children develop the confidence to carry themselves with strength, parents gain the knowledge, awareness, and composure to guide and protect them — both inside and outside the gym. These packages are intentionally priced to remain accessible, because strong families and confident young people create stronger communities.
All youth and family sessions follow the same structured, high-level coaching framework as my adult programmes — this is disciplined, boxing-focused training designed for young people and committed parents, not a play based activity.

COMMON QUESTIONS?
Do I need any equipment?
No, all pad work equipment is provided. You just need to show up ready to train in comfortable workout gear.
How fit do I need to be?
There is no minimum fitness requirement for beginners. Sessions are adapted to your goals and pace, allowing your fitness to improve naturally through technical progression.
Can I train at home?
Yes, out-call sessions at your home are available as an option. The most popular out of the two as people like to feel comfortable in there own environment. Alternatively, sessions can take place at a professional boxing gym depending on your preference.
Can I switch levels mid-package?
Absolutely. You can switch levels as you progress, subject to technical assessment and coach approval to ensure you are training safely at the right intensity.
